There could be no greater contrast to the beautiful image of a mother holding her infant child than the chilling displays our nation saw in recent days. Lawmakers in New York cheered with delight upon the passage of legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped from the mother’s womb moments from birth. These are living, feeling, beautiful babies who will never get the chance to share their love and their dreams with the world. And then, we had the case of the Governor of Virginia where he stated he would execute a baby after birth.

To defend the dignity of every person, I am asking Congress to pass legislation to prohibit the late-term abortion of children who can feel pain in the mother’s womb.

A plea to win the hearts of those who choose to dehumanize our development and undermine our right to live.

  1. Me and my husband (along with our entire country, we don’t live in US) wondered for years how was it possible that Americans wanted Donald Trump for their president. We didn’t really know all that well about this abortion thing back there; I learned before my spouse. However, it was Netflix document Reversing Roe (Netflix btw publicly supports abortion and has e.g. offered to pay for their employees travels if they “need” to go to another state for an abortion due to Dobbs v. Jackson – Reversing Roe was the last thing we ever watched from Netflix) that caused him to exclaim that he understands the Trump issue now. In the document, there is an excerpt from presidential debate between Trump and Clinton in which Trump delineates his stance on abortion, and which apparently effectively won him the pro life votes. And now Roe has been reversed, thanks to Supreme Court majority nominated by Donald Trump. Whatever else this man may be, he will be remembered for this.
