When a Muslim dies, it is the responsibility of their family or other Muslims within the local community to wash them according to the Islamic rites of washing the deceased, known as ghusl. This little boy died after 20 weeks of life in the womb and is respected as any other person would be respected.
Whosoever has spared the life of a soul, it is as though he has spared the life of all people. Whosoever has killed a soul, it is as though he has murdered all of mankind.

Islam recognizes that every human being is equal and equally deserving of the protections of their human family. Living by this simple truth, abortion is forbidden by Islamic teachings, as it should be forbidden by all faiths and non-believers alike.
As you witness this ceremony, remind yourself that intentionally killing this little boy while cradled in the womb is completely legal in the United States. Aborting children this age involves twisting their arms and legs off and pulling them out in pieces. Abortion is a barbaric and inhuman practice that we must never tolerate under any circumstance.
