As a species, we have embraced the overt oppression of just one remaining group of humans, the prenatal, by stripping away their human rights. Each one of us once called ourselves a member of this group, yet many reject the restoral of their human rights to avoid the responsibility of caring for them.
In order to legally grant the ability to kill another innocent human, that human must remain defenseless in the eyes of the law. In fact, their very personhood must be denied. This can only occur because those who advocate for this injustice have been safely born.
Abortion perfectly fits the definition of oppression:
1. prolonged cruel or unjust treatment or control.
Worldwide, 5,000 prenatal human beings are poisoned or brutally dismembered while still alive — every HOUR. Abortion on demand has plagued our planet for half a century and is the ultimate act of cruelty against the most vulnerable members of our human family. Ripping a living child from the safety of their mother’s womb is unjust treatment and a barbaric expression of control by one group, the born, over another group, the preborn.
Until we end the killing of our own offspring, we will never realize the promise of true human equality. Abortion, driven by the idea that some lives matter less than others, is a corrosive ideology that’s eating away at our collective humanity and it will take all of us to neutralize it.
Will you raise your hand in support of human rights for every human?
