Vegan Ethical Hypocrisy

Vegan Message

The vast majority of vegans support the practice of slaughtering prenatal children for convenience, yet oppose slaughtering farm animals for food. This vegan is sending the message that her body won’t be used as a tomb for animals by eating their tissue, yet would readily use her body as a tomb for her own children because they are ‘just tissue’. She would oppose aborting puppies, yet supports aborting human beings.

If you subscribe to the vegan philosophy that seeks to protect the value of animal life, you must take a stand to protect the value of prenatal human life. After all, humans are members of the animal kingdom. One thing is clear: humans will never respect the lives of other creatures until they respect the lives of their own young.

Holding the position that others should decide for themselves is the pro-life position. We affirm that every human being should decide whether or not they should be aborted.

      • No it’s not. The debate is if it is a life or not and if we as a nation give people the permission to hold their own religious views on when life actually begins. Millions do not feel this is a life and you are not respecting their opinions on this very personal issue.

Facts don’t care about your opinions. Science is crystal clear on when life begins…

“Although life is a continuous process, fertilization is a critical landmark because, under ordinary circumstances, a new, genetically distinct human organism is thereby formed… The combination of 23 chromosomes present in each pronucleus results in 46 chromosomes in the zygote. Thus the diploid number is restored and the embryonic genome is formed. The embryo now exists as a genetic unity.” [O’Rahilly, Ronan and Muller, Fabiola. Human Embryology & Teratology. 2nd edition. New York: Wiley-Liss, 1996, pp. 8, 29.]

By the way, I’m an atheist. Abortion isn’t a religious issue, it’s a human rights issue. Abortion kills innocent living human beings, period.

          • The scientific community does not agree on this, it is not even close to a fact and it doesn’t matter if you are Atheist or not it is still a moral view. I have Catholic friends that are Pro-choice. You are still deciphering when life actually begins and we do not agree by the millions.

The only reason to disagree with the fact that each of our lives began the moment our parent’s haploid gametes fused is to support the killing of those awaiting their turn at birth. There’s absolutely no other reason to deny this truth.

              • I do not think the instant a chicken is inseminated what is inside of them is a chicken. I don’t think the egg is a chicken either. Once the chick leaves the shell it is a chicken. Same for personhood. What you are saying is a fact is not a fact.
