I never said I looked down on people who have had abortions. I know some strong and amazing women who had abortions at one time in their lives. Those same women will be the first to tell you how much their abortion hurt them at the same time it killed their baby.

I don’t look down on people who have had abortions. I want to offer them compassion and healing and forgiveness.

It’s true, I want abortion to be illegal. That’s because I want preborn children to have the same rights and protections as already-born children.

And if you think abortion will always be legal, you should really take another look. All the pro-choice groups say we’re winning. They’re panicking. I’m on their email lists, I see the frantic messages to their supporters every time a new pro-life bill is introduced or another video is released.

A day is coming soon when we will look back on abortion as we look back on slavery and the Holocaust. Our children and grandchildren will wonder how something like abortion could have ever been legal, much less celebrated as liberating for women.

The more pro-choicers feel the need to tell me I’ll never win, the more I know we’re already winning.
