Are you really so ignorant that you actually think rape doesn’t happen even though it’s illegal? Of course some mothers will kill their children even after abortion is outlawed. We all know that stringing a series of words together and having whomever happens to be the President at the time scribble his name under those words will not change human nature. What it does do is plant a flag in the ground. It proclaims that we as a people value certain behaviors, primarily that we should not hurt each other in pursuit of our own goals. Which is exactly what abortion does. It kills the most vulnerable among us to satiate the desires of those who hold power over them. That is, after all, why we have laws: to protect the weak from the strong.
