catholic-talking-points-deactiv:

I had to look up taig, because I’d never heard the word before. Apparently, you called me a derogatory term for an Irish Catholic; your mother must be proud. The thing is, I’m an American Catholic of German decent. I guess it’s the thought that counts.

Ok, on to your “argument”. You are correct that a man doesn’t have a uterus; that was quite insightful of you. So, drawing a logical conclusion along your line of thinking, you must be outraged when women have an opinion about testicular cancer. “…but, they don’t even have testicles! How can they care about this issue??” That was you right there. It must be equally infuriating to you when a non-Jew speaks out against the horrors of the Holocaust, or a civilian expresses concern for the safety of combat soldiers. Yes, in your world you must actually be the thing you’re talking about, or leave the talking to those who are.

(Curiously enough, I noticed you’re also a man who has an opinion about a “woman’s issue”, yet your opinion is the only valid one. Hmm.)

Well, let me tell you about this thing called science. You see, inside the uterus in your example is a child, with DNA separate from the mother. Not part of the woman’s body, but a unique lifeform. This is not a woman’s issue, this is a human rights issue. Children are being murdered, and everyone should be outraged- uterus or not.
