They don’t come to you because they don’t want their delusions shattered. If they speak to someone who knows that what they are about to do will kill their living son or daughter, it might make them actually consider sacrificing for their child instead of sacrificing their child.
I just found out yet another friend of mine got pregnant and had an abortion… and again, never felt they could come to me for help/support because I\'m pro-life. Is it normal for friends to think we will reject them or just be mean to them for a (very) bad decision? This is the third time this has happened, how can I, as a staunch pro-life person, make it better known that I won\'t turn into a monster to them if my friend has an abortion, without budging in my pro-life stance? Ugh….
