Seven years later, pro-abortion sect has got this problem covered as well. It wasn’t long ago I received an invitation via university e-mail to a social sciences conference on “Maternal regret”. The briefing told that in the gathering, several international scholars from various fields were going to talk about a taboo subject of mothers regretting of having had children. Presumably as a result of wanted pregnancies, for nothing else was indicated. I was unable to attend the conference, but from the invitation I understood that this was a widespread and kind of common phenomenon. I’ve been picking up such a sentiment from more informal settings as well. So there you have it. Mothers do regret having given birth, and they regret having their children. At the same time regret from abortion is actively trumped even from high healthcare officials and dismissed as illusional.
