There are no mental gymnastics twisted enough to adequately rationalize the intentional destruction of the most vulnerable and defenseless human beings among us – our preborn children. You are absolutely correct that we were alive in the womb, but you must also accept that we were people as well. We didn’t magically morph into a ‘person’. We became the person we are today when our mother’s and father’s DNA fused during fertilization. There is no other logical point at which we could have become who we are today.
I for one can\'t even understand the mentality that abortion is okay because it\'s only a \'potential\' life. Even if they aren\'t \'alive\' (which they are but that\'s a different story) they\'re still gonna grow into a person that won\'t exist if you abort them. No matter what way you wanna look at it, you\'re still ending a human life and any other lives he/she could have made.
