Actually, a pregnant mother’s womb IS a location – it’s someone’s HOME for nine months. The uterus, as an organ, does not exist for the benefit of the woman, it exists solely for the benefit of another, separate, human being. After all, a mother carrying a child was once carried herself by another. She once called a womb home and she owes her life to its function, just as you and I do. And although a womb is not public property, the life of the child it contains is. The protection of our children is a primary function of our government – of our society – and we are failing miserably.
