The vast majority of pregnant mothers who are told their son or daughter has Down syndrome will have them poisoned or manually dismembered while still alive. Why do they do this? First, because it’s legal to do so. Second, because they don’t want the ‘burden’ of having to care for their special needs child. And third, because they don’t want to be ’embarrassed’ by a child that’s not like other parent’s kids. These are hard truths, but truths all the same.
