In order for most people to support the killing of innocent living human beings, they must first dehumanize them. We have seen this pattern throughout history. The Nazis called the Jews ‘parasites’ and the Hutus called the Tutsis ‘cockroaches’. Although many ‘pro-choice’ advocates also call the unborn members of our human family ‘parasites’, most try to dehumanize them by claiming they are not really individuals, that they are just a ‘clump of cells’. Clearly, this is grossly inaccurate and shockingly ignorant, but it’s all they really have left to fall back on short of admitting that we were human beings while living in the womb. Once that admission is made, all they have left is ‘bodily autonomy’, which equates to this sad argument: “yes, the unborn are human beings, and yes, he or she is my son or daughter, but I’m going to kill them anyway because I’m too selfish to place them for adoption.” As you can see, this argument won’t sit well with most voters and will inevitably lead to personhood amendments to our state and federal constitutions. Of course, this will happen anyway. It’s just a question of how many more children have to be slaughtered before the awakening.

To more directly address your request, please ask your antagonist to read this post which will further illuminate her complete and utter misunderstanding of carpology and human embryology (her seed argument is self-defeating).

As you can see, a seed contains an already fertilized embryonic plant in much the same way that a pregnant mother’s uterus contains an already fertilized embryonic human being.

A plea to win the hearts of those who choose to dehumanize our development and undermine our right to live.
