‘Therapeutic abortion’ is a euphemism for the targeted destruction of a mentally or physically challenged human being. Most doctors will recommend that mothers kill their disabled children while it’s still legal to do so – prior to their birth – in an effort to avoid wrongful birth lawsuits. There have been many cases where a mother was advised to have her child poisoned or slaughtered prior to their birth, only to have them born perfectly healthy. But this is of no concern to many doctors. After all, if the child is killed on their recommendation, no one checks their mangled remains to see if the doctor was wrong. But if that child is born with a defect, it’s right there for the world, and the courts, to see.
