I’m not sure why you believe that pregnancy does not equal motherhood. Of course it does. You and I were just as much our respective mother’s child while she protected and nurtured us inside of her womb as we were while she protected and nurtured us outside of her womb. Three things happen simultaneously upon conception: a child, a mother, and a father are created.
