These very rare circumstances should involve an attempt to save both lives, but if only one life can be saved, it must be the mother’s as her unborn child would die anyway without her life support. Please be aware that most doctors will recommend abortion in the interest of retaining their medical licenses. You see, we live in a world where killing little boys and girls in the womb is legal. Most doctors feel compelled to recommend abortion at the slightest signs of difficulty to avoid malpractice lawsuits, even though several mothers have carried their children through to their birth while battling cancer. It is a parent’s first responsibility to protect and defend their children, even if that means risking their own lives to do so.
