You are right, making abortion illegal won’t end abortion. Just like making rape illegal hasn’t ended rape, nor has outlawing murder, child abuse, torture, and assault. Simply making human atrocities illegal never ends them, but it sends a message that the society who wrote the laws will not tolerate the cruelty of man, no matter its form. I am not working just to make abortion illegal, I am working to make it unthinkable. That is when the killing will truly end. But one must come before the other.
