The first child was unloved and was abandoned to abortion.

The second child came early and received all of the resources modern medicine could bring to bear.

The third child was just as loved as the second but arrived on schedule.

What is the difference, really, in these children’s individual value as human beings? Why should one have been killed while the others were welcomed by their families? Why should our right to live or die be decided by anyone else?
