People are going to have sex no matter what Utopian world we may envision. Sex is a drive within us just like hunger and thirst. Some of us have much stronger drives than others, but the drive is always there. It’s completely unrealistic to expect human beings to use abstinence as birth control or to simply have all of the children that happen to be fertilized during marital intercourse.
If we are going to end human abortion, we must be realistic about contraception. Isn’t it infinitely better to encourage the use of non-abortifacient contraception than to have to fight to prevent the poisoning and slaughter of living human beings?
