I’m watching a veterinarian show and they’re doing an ultrasound on a (super cute) pregnant kitty, and they specifically use the word “kitten”. As in, she’s having kittens, we’re going to have kittens. And this was an accidental pregnancy from an unspayed outdoor cat. No one WANTED these kittens, but there’s still respect that there’s life in there. It’s interesting how no one ever refers to unborn cats and dogs as “fetuses”, but humans are called that and worse when they “aren’t wanted”…
It’s sad isn’t it? We are so lost as a species. What’s even worse is that many of those in favor of killing unborn children would protest the killing of unborn kittens as animal cruelty.
X-ray of kittens living within their mother’s womb.
