In fact, we’re learned that a lot of our DNA can be changed through outside factors. Everything from what your mother eats while pregnant to the amount of pollutants in the air during your early childhood to the amount of STRESS you endure growing up can change your DNA.
But again, Lord Cultureshift is never wrong :> Never. Ever.
If I attempted to point out the recurring ignorance displayed by the ‘pro-choice’ community related to human embryology and basic genetic science, I would need a full time support staff. But this particular example is so egregious that I will take the time to respond.
If you don’t think your personality is hereditary, please explain why there are so many different ‘personalities’ displayed by a litter of puppies. Different puppies within the same litter can display huge variances in their emotional responses to external stimuli. If this obvious common sense example is not enough for you, consider this from the Mayo Clinic…

Page 45 (section on fertilization): “This genetic material will determine your baby’s sex, eye color, hair color, body size, facial features and – at least to some extent – intelligence and personality. … Your baby’s sex is determined at the moment he or she is conceived.”
As noted by one of the leading medical practice research groups in the world, not only is personality a characteristic determined at the instant of fertilization, so is hair and eye color. Different eye colors are produced because of the different amounts and patterns of pigment in the iris. The amount of pigment and the pattern of the pigment is determined by a person’s genetic makeup. The DNA received from one’s parents determines what color eyes they will have. A child’s irises may gain more pigment in the months after their birth, but they won’t get “lighter” or more blue. Green, hazel, and brown eyes actually have more pigment than grey or blue eyes, even if they appear lighter in color. Hair color also changes over time due to the amount of pigmentation. What is clear is that the color of the pigmentation itself is determined by genetics and your genes are locked in at the instant of fertilization. Your DNA does NOT CHANGE over time. That’s why DNA left at a crime scene can definitively lead to your conviction or be used to determine a child’s paternity with almost absolute certainty.
If you are going to fight to kill preborn human beings, at least be educated about who and what you are killing.
