If you drive a car, you are consenting to the possibility of having a car accident. Just like if you fly, you are consenting to the risk of plummeting to your certain death. If you have sex, you are absolutely consenting to the possibility of getting pregnant. These risks are only mitigated by protective measures such as seat belts and birth control, not completely prevented by them.

What is your opinion on this argument- \'If someone consents to driving a car, they consent to getting in an accident?\' As someone who has a crippling fear of driving, I have never gotten my license, walk everywhere I have to be (work, school, etc), and as such, do things like this to assuage my fears of driving. Since pro-choicers like using the above argument in conjunction with \'Consent to sex is not consent to pregnancy\'.
