“Donna’s best friend, on the day before the abortion, right before Donna goes on stage for her comedy act: ‘You are going to kill it out there!’"
"Donna, smirking: ‘I actually have an appointment to do that tomorrow.’"
"The good news for humanity, I guess, is that only half of the audience laughed. The other half let out an uncomfortable “Oooooh.” But, sadly, when it comes down to it, those two lines pretty much sum up the message of “Obvious Child”—and, perhaps, the forward strategy for today’s most ardent abortion advocates. Like Donna, the modern abortion lobby wants no moral qualms about abortion, no matter the circumstance. Like Donna, a growing number of abortion advocates know—and many even admit—that abortion ends a life.”

If you are even slightly interested in holding on to what little humanity we have left, LISTEN CAREFULLY…
Quietly whispers to my fellow human beings: whether you back the right to kill our unborn sons and daughters or if you oppose their slaughter, it is paramount that the decision to kill them remain a serious one. I understand the desire of the pro-abortion community to destigmatize the killing, I truly do. If I was in favor of killing a certain class of human beings and it was legal, I certainly wouldn’t want people making me feel bad for tearing their limbs from their bodies as I methodically exercised my rights.
But here’s where the problem lies. If we make the killing of our young no different than getting a haircut or having a tooth pulled, human life will become so devalued that it will grease the already slippery slope associated with legally killing any group of human beings. History has shown us time and time again that once the slaughter of the ‘unwanted’ members of our human community is embraced, many more must die trying to stop it.
Making abortion funny is a dangerous idea filled with the potential to visit our world with unprecedented human suffering. We cannot predict the future, but we can shape it. Killing should never be funny.
