First, it is not my intent to force a mother to give birth, it is my intent to change our culture to one where abortion is not only illegal, it’s unthinkable. Under this culture, the concept of not birthing a child already conceived would be as repulsive as the concept of forced abortion.
But what about incestuous rape? Is this rape somehow different than ‘regular’ rape when used to determine the humanity and value of the child conceived? Once again, the value of a human being is not determined by the manner of their conception. After all, do you REALLY know the manner of your conception? If you were to find out that you were conceived in rape, would your value as a person suddenly plummet? Of course it wouldn’t. The only thing that can ever change your value as a member of our human community is your own actions, not how you were conceived.
