I’m sorry, I must not have clearly articulated my point. When I stated that I wanted to change our culture to make abortion unthinkable, I meant to include the mother carrying her unborn child. In other words, she would never consider killing her unborn son or daughter because it would never enter her mind. Just like killing her post-born son or daughter would never enter her mind.

To rephrase: I want to create a culture where abortion is never considered, never imagined, and therefore never performed. In this culture, killing an unborn child would be unthinkable and therefore not an option that would be considered.

But don’t despair, there will still be two options left: parenting and adoption, neither of which stops a beating heart.

\'It is my intent to change our culture to one where abortion is not only illegal, it’s unthinkable\' how is this not forcing women to give birth? You would be forcing a woman into a situation where she feels like she has no other option than to do what you have told her. That is force.
