So should it have been legal for her to euthanize you under anesthesia when you were six months old, if it would have benefited her life and she had a ‘good reason’? After all you wouldn’t have felt anything, and you wouldn’t be here now to give a shit.

The answer is NO, because the right to live is not subject to change based on whether or not someone else feels that your life is inconvenient or worth living. It would have been just as wrong of your mother to kill you when you were the size of a penny as it would be for her to do so now.
