Lucia Sansbury was born 13 weeks premature, weighing only 1lb. She was so tiny that medics had to improvise by placing her in clear plastic sandwich bag to keep her warm. In the months to come, she needed emergency treatment to repair her bowel, and laser surgery to save her eye sight. Now one year later, little Lucia is celebrating the first birthday that her doting parents feared she would never see. (x)
