As usual, a pro-abortion advocate that doesn’t know the facts behind what drives women to kill their unborn children.

From a Guttmacher Institute study for the year 2008…

Forty-two percent of women obtaining abortions have incomes below 100% of the federal poverty level ($10,830 for a single woman with no children).

Eighteen percent of U.S. women obtaining abortions are teenagers; those aged 15–17 obtain 6% of all abortions, 18–19-year-olds obtain 11%, and teens younger than 15 obtain 0.4%.

Remember, these numbers come from the Guttmacher Institute, a wildly biased pro-abortion research organization spawned by Planned Parenthood. You must use critical reasoning when analyzing their findings. Notice that eighteen percent of all abortions are performed on teenagers? How many 13-19 year olds do you think were making more than $10,830 a year in 2008? Most teenagers living with their parents are in school and don’t even earn an income. Do you see how the numbers are skewed to paint a picture that is ‘less than honest’? But even with all of the non-income earning teenagers thrown into the numbers, the percentage of those who live below the poverty line and elect to kill their unborn children is still only forty-two percent of all abortions. And of course, not all of these women killed their children simply because they were poor.

Rape – 0.3%

Incest – 0.03%

Physical Life of the Mother – 0.1%

Physical Health of the Mother – 1.0%

Fetal Health – 0.5%

Not Ready For Responsibility – 32%

Economic – 30%

Avoid Adjusting Life – 16%

Mother Single or in Bad Relationship – 12%

Doesn’t Want Anymore Children – 8%

Sex Selection – < 0.1%

As you can see, your premise is incorrect. Poverty is not the number one reason behind abortion. Selfishness is. And do you really think a living human being should be killed because of money?

Stand for the dignity of human life. Stand against human abortion.
