One of the difficult aspects of the abortion debate is that the unborn can’t speak in their own defense.
However, tens of thousands of abortion survivors are currently living in the United States. These are boys and girls, men and women whose mothers did not choose life. They chose abortion.
Thankfully for these people, the abortion failed. They came out of their mothers alive, and timely medical intervention allowed them to stay that way.
Some are perfectly healthy today, some have disabilities resulting from the abortion method that was used. All of them are glad they survived.
I invite you, whether you are pro-life or pro-choice, to read their stories and consider the 115,068 children who will be aborted tomorrow and who likely won’t be as lucky.
Thank you for spreading the word that we need more effective abortion procedures. An important message, to be sure.
This comment sums up the spirit of the pro-choice movement better than any other I have ever run across. When presented with the stories of women who survived their abortionist’s attempt to kill them in the womb, this sad and morally bankrupt human being could only express her sorrow at their survival. She does this for one reason: she believes that her life is more important and more valuable than even the life of her own child.
There are some things greater than ourselves.
