For me personally, I never realized that I had to be pro-life, just like I never realized I had to be pro-equality or pro-justice. I just know that intentionally killing an innocent child can ever be justified.
My call to action came when Texas State Senator Wendy Davis filibustered to block a law that would stop the killing of prenatal children after five months of life. I immediately began to formulate scientific and philosophical arguments against human abortion. This woman was literally fighting for the right of Texans to kill children like these while still living inside their mother’s womb…
After witnessing her public display in support of denying these children the protection of the law as human beings, it became clear to me that I must take a stand. And I will never again be silent in their defense.
