As defined above, a fetus is an unborn human baby from the ninth through 40th week of gestation. Most unborn children are fully viable at their 24th week of gestation, and many are viable even earlier thanks to modern medical technology. An unborn child is most definitely sentient, usually beginning somewhere between the 18th-25th week of gestation, with mature central somatosensory processing beginning around the 30th week.
An unborn child has every right to their mother’s body. The womb provides no benefit to the mother. Its existence is solely for the use of another human being. Everyone should have a universal Right to Life, regardless of their stage of development.
