Many doctors will err on the side of caution and recommend killing an unborn child if there is a risk of complication to the mother and, increasingly, if the child may not be mentally or physically ‘normal’. They do this because they do not have to worry about the legal rights of the unborn person, only the born person. Malpractice lawsuits can end the career of a doctor and they will do almost anything to avoid them – especially something as easy as killing unborn human beings.

You and many like you love to run to the extreme fringes of abortion as a way to justify the other 99% of abortions performed on healthy mothers with healthy children. I have received countless asks about the age of the mother, all the way down to five years old. My stance has never changed: killing one human being in the interest of another is wrong, no matter the age of the child or the age of the mother, even if the mother is a child herself.

See the Dublin Declaration signed by over 700 medical professionals if you believe the life of a mother is still an issue given today’s medical technology. Remember, abortion is the deliberate killing of an unborn child. Losing a child in an effort to save his or her mother’s life is unintentional and is not induced abortion.

This is the third time asking you something. Are you too scared to look as stupid as you\'re making these other people look? There was a case of an 11 year old girl who was raped and became pregnant. She was told the pregnancy could kill her but was denied an abortion. Is that girl\'s life less important than that baby? Do not say all I\'m trying to do is slaughter babies or whatever else you have. I\'d never get an abortion, but I believe the option should be there for those who need it.
