Abortion is the killing of a living human being, a human being no less valuable than you are. Imagine for a moment if infanticide were legal. After all, killing an infant solves the vast majority of the problems mothers seek to remedy by killing these same children while awaiting their birth. Now, lets rephrase your statement:
‘I hate infanticide, I really do, but I am pro choice, nonetheless. I want infanticide to be safe, legal and rare. Perhaps that’s what you should focus on doing.“
This is what I hear when you use the term abortion. I hear this because we are the same person while unborn as we are after our birth. We didn’t change into something different, only our location changed. There is literally zero difference between killing a child in the womb or killing him or her as an infant. You rationalize the killing of these children by employing euphemisms like ‘reproductive healthcare’ and ‘products of conception’ as a way to justify this sick and depraved act.
We must stop the slaughter of our unborn children. Perhaps that’s what you should focus on doing.
