How does one justify killing innocent humans? Where would you have me draw the line? Where you or I personally feel that their life is not going to be worth living? That’s not our decision to make. No one has the right to decide whether or not another innocent human lives or dies. It is their choice, and their choice alone.
As the medical industry flourishes, we come closer to finding ways to cope with and cure painful and debilitating diseases like Tay Sachs. Our focus should be on healing those who suffer from the affliction, not killing them.
I\'m curious about your stance on Tay Sachs, obviously you feel that every notion of life is to be protected but these kids are born into pain. How does one justify forcing a very short (2-4 years) and very painful life onto another living thing?
