We are so fortunate that not everyone thinks like you. We are fortunate that there are people willing to place others above themselves, willing to sacrifice their lives for ours. These people are known as Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Firemen, Police Officers, and Paramedics. These people do not think like you. These people know that some things are greater than themselves, that making a sacrifice for others is worth the effort, even if that sacrifice claims their very lives.
The most important thing to any mother should not be herself, it should be her child. You have a lot to learn about the true meaning of life.
Oh I do love your belief that I have some kind of obligation to put other\'s needs before my own. Wake up sunshine; I as a person have no responsibility under any circumstances to put others before myself. The most important person in my world? Me.
