“If abortion isn’t killing a living human being, what emotion is there to manipulate?”
The woman’s? Just in case you didn’t know women actually feel things.
cultureshift:
Yes, I know women actually feel things. They feel the sting of the needle being pushed into their cervix or the cramps brought on by mifepristone after poisoning their child. They feel the suction of the vacuum aspirator as it tears their child to pieces. They feel the cold blade of a curette as it scrapes the remains of their once living son or daughter from the wall of their uterus. And finally, they feel the emptiness of a womb that moments before harbored the life of their now dead baby boy or girl.
But their feelings won’t end there. Every time they hear the cry of a child, are invited to a baby shower, glance at a pregnant mother, or have a baby grasp their finger with his or her tiny hand, they will remember what they did to their own child. They will feel the pain of that decision for the rest of their lives.
