There is ZERO reason to think less of yourself if conceived by rape. ZERO. This is part of the problem with our culture today. Once two haploid DNA carriers fuse, every single thing that ever happened prior to that moment is IRRELEVANT to the value or equality of that newly formed human being.
Ask yourself this: If your great grandmother conceived your grandfather because she was raped and he was later responsible for your mother’s conception through a loving relationship with your grandmother, would you still feel bad about yourself? After all, you wouldn’t be here today if your great grandmother hadn’t been raped.
It’s a certainty that every single one of us has an ancestor somewhere in our past that was conceived through rape. Remember, our lineage goes back millions of years. The genus homo has seen over 83,000 generations. Does this mean we should all think less of ourselves? Are we all less valuable, or could it mean that the manner of our conception is irrelevant to our value as human beings?
