Why are you so into the cause of abortion?
Abortion is the greatest human rights injustice that we face. Over 50 million children have died in America since 1973. That’s a ridiculous and terrifying statistic. All fetuses, embryos, and zygotes are distinct, living, and whole human beings. All human beings are people. All people are equal, valuable, and deserve the right to life. I would not be able to live with myself knowing that I was not fighting this injustice.
I’ll leave you with a few quotes by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. that inspire me in this epic battle for justice and equality:[su_quote]The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.[/su_quote] [su_quote]Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.[/su_quote] [su_quote]An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.[/su_quote] [su_quote]He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.[/su_quote]
