One of the MANY problems associated with killing children while awaiting their birth is the fear that some day even being born won’t be enough. This fear is already taking root:

I don’t buy this argument, in part because I agree with Furedi that something profound changes at birth: The woman’s bodily autonomy is no longer at stake. But I also think that the value of the unborn human increases throughout its development. Furedi rejects that view, and her rejection doesn’t stop at birth. As she explained in our debate last fall, “There is nothing magical about passing through the birth canal that transforms it from a fetus into a person.”

Abortion is a cancer of the mind. It is a cancer that is attacking our humanity and devolving the progress our species has made across the spectrum of human rights. The last frontier of human rights is the conference of the Right to Life to ALL living human beings, regardless of which side of the cervix they happen to reside on.

Whether born or unborn, the act of killing an innocent living human being threatens our sense of right and wrong. It threatens our values, our humanity, and our very lives.
