My sister had an emergency C-section this morning at 32 weeks after she fell on ice, hit her head and had a seizure. They were positive that the baby would not survive the procedure and they were working very hard to save the life of my sister. When the baby was pulled from the womb, he didn’t make a sound. The nurses started shaking him gently and rubbing him until we heard the first cry! My beautiful and healthy nephew was born weighing in at 9 lbs 4 ounces and a head full of hair! I am so in love :)
I’m so sorry to hear about your sister’s misfortune and I hope she’s doing well. I’m thrilled that her beautiful son made it through. It’s amazing how resilient new life can be. I wish all doctors worked as hard to save prenatal lives as your sister’s medical team did. It’s such a tragedy that some ‘doctors’ actually put just as much effort into killing children like your nephew.
Thank you for sharing your story. It’s my hope that others will realize that all lives hold equal value and deserve every effort possible to defend and protect them, regardless of their age or location.
