I think it’s very telling that people have utterly no heart when they come to you and brag about having ended their child’s life. Sometimes I think they may have aborted out of spite, just to attempt to hurt others who did care. They hurt their baby.

People want to believe that their decision to kill their own child was the right choice. They believe that because it’s legal to slaughter prenatal children that their choice should be guilt-free. They are wrong. Everything Hitler did in Germany was legal under German law at the time, yet no one today believes the Holocaust was an acceptable way to terminate what he considered ‘unwanted’ members of our human family.
Bragging about their depraved act is an attempt to assuage their guilt and normalize abortion. They hope to destigmatize this barbaric practice by announcing their child’s death to the world. A death that robbed a living human being of their chance to know love, to gain an education, and to have children of their own. It’s sad and it’s immoral. Above all, it’s a great injustice.
