You seem to miss the point. I’m ending the potential for a child. Technically, not a child yet. And if you consider it a child, that’s cool but that is not a universal definition and something that shouldn’t be talked about as if it were a “fact”. This is my choice to have an abortion. I do not feel the least bit guilty. Relief is one of the most common emotions after.

Life begins at fertilization and our cells continue to divide as we grow from that moment until approximately twenty years of age when we reach adulthood. Should we end an infant’s life because he or she is just a potential adult? Our stage of development does not determine our value. Our value is determined by our humanity and we are human beginning at fertilization. Nothing significant changes about our DNA from that moment forward. We are the same human being from that moment until our last.
You have the strength to protect your child. He or she deserves the same opportunity you and I were given — the opportunity to be born. Please continue to cradle your child in your womb. Please don’t let anyone hurt your baby. Please.
