2 Kings 15:16: God allows the pregnant women of Tappuah (aka Tiphsah) to be “ripped open”. And the Christians have the audacity to say god is pro-life. How in the hell is it that Christians can read passages where God allows pregnant women to be murdered, yet still claim abortion is wrong?

I’m an atheist and not religious in the slightest. Abortion isn’t a religious issue, it’s a human rights issue. I gladly fight alongside my religious friends to end the greatest human atrocity that has ever visited our species.
Abortion has killed more living human beings than every war and every other human tragedy combined — since the beginning of time.
An innocent human being is killed by abortion every two seconds on our little blue planet. Planned Parenthood alone kills a little boy or girl every 94 seconds. Over 43,800,000 prenatal children are killed every year!
THE HUMAN RIGHT TO LIFE IS THE FOUNDATION THAT ALL OTHER HUMAN RIGHTS ARE BUILT UPON.
Amen. The verse has no dogmatic relevance to the Question anyways.
True, the verse has nothing to do with abortions but the murder of women & their pre-born children by Menahem, who also attacked all who were there in Tiphsah & it’s territory because they did not surrender to him… Beforehand he also killed the Shallum, the King of Samaria….
If anonymous had read the whole chapter of II Kings:15, he/she would have seen that there were 3 kings who did evil in the sight of the Lord, and Menahem from the verse 16 which was referenced was one of them….
