pro-lifers who say that I use the term “fetus” to distance myself and make myself feel better annoy the crap out of me. I use fetus because it is a developmental term, the correct term, for what we are talking about. I use “human” and “person” for different things because they are different things.
just because the lot of you are incapable of choosing your words carefully and accurately doesn’t mean the rest of us need to be painted with that brush.

Isn’t it interesting that no one uses the developmental term of adolescent when discussing children in everyday conversation. I have never heard anyone say, ‘I’m going to pick up my adolescent from school’, or ‘my adolescent is spending the night with her friends tomorrow’. The terms used are child and daughter, respectively.
You and those like you who champion for the killing of prenatal children only use developmental terms when referring to them and you do this for one reason — to assuage your guilt. It’s just that simple.
