My auntie can’t have children and I can’t even imagine the pain she goes through when she hears about abortion because lives are wasted. The babies or fetuses may not have had a ‘life’ filled with memories and experiences but the mothers who have chosen abortion have deprived their own children to living a life. I’m grateful that the biological mother of my cousin chose adoption instead of abortion because my auntie was willing to give him a life he deserves and because of it they’re happy.

Adoption is a beautiful choice for ALL involved if the mother is incapable of raising her child. The child’s life should always take precedence over all other considerations. This basic human value of sacrificing for others has been lost on the last few generations. We are missing one-third of our human family today because of abortion. These people are missing because our compassion and empathy are missing as well.
I’m so happy that your cousin’s mother chose to protect her child. I know you, your auntie, and especially him, are better off for it. Enjoy your time together and cherish every moment as if it’s your last.
