I’m 16 and I love this blog. I could never kill my baby, she was created by me. I don’t understand the whole “consenting to sex doesn’t mean you consent to getting pregnant” it’s pretty obvious that every time someone has sex there’s a chance of getting pregnant, it’s a part of life. It doesn’t make me feel empowered knowing that I can take another human’s life. Every single life is precious, especially my unborn daughters.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. You are a beautiful human being. You possess wisdom well beyond your years, something many have not, and will never, achieve. You have accepted the responsibility of protecting the life growing inside of you.
And you are also right in understanding that empowerment does not come from having the ability to take life, it comes from the ability to give life.
Your daughter and I have something in common. I was conceived by a 16 year old as the result of an unplanned pregnancy. Your little girl, like myself, is very fortunate to have a mother who chose life.
