If women need to “protect the life inside of them”, what if it were a parasitic worm? You’d be fine with the removal of it, as it harms the woman, makes them sick, and could kill them. And yet why are you so against the removal of a fetus- unable to live outside the womb- who can do the same things? Is it because they could become human? Or is it simply and more obviously because you care far, far, FAR more about the unborn than for the living, thinking women who are capable of having them?

Your ‘argument’ is yet another attempt to dehumanize prenatal children. And to be clear, I care for the mother and child EQUALLY.

A ‘fetus’ is not a parasite, he or she is a living human being comprised of unique human DNA. Even today, you carry the same DNA that formed you at the moment of fertilization. I never said pregnancy is easy, I have only stated that it’s a necessary part of human reproduction. Because something is difficult does not mean we should have the right to kill an innocent human being to avoid it.

A plea to win the hearts of those who choose to dehumanize our development and undermine our right to live.
