Policies vary around the world and it is my belief that this is a human rights violation. This policy does not apply in America.
A woman who never desires to have children should be able to get sterilized. The irony with those countries that do not allow sterilization until a woman’s 30th birthday or after a woman has given birth at least once is that these same countries have no problem allowing this same woman to kill her prenatal child if she so desires, violating another human right — the right to life.
