I’m an atheist and therefore agree that they do not have a soul, and know that they never will. What they will have is consciousness someday, just like you and I. But they cannot, we could not, reach that day without passing through the embryonic and fetal stages of life.
And by your reasoning, I assume abortion should be outlawed after brain activity is detected which occurs at the eighth week following conception. You are almost a member of the pro-life community. You just have to add those first eight weeks into the equation.
You cannot be ‘pro-choice’ without deluding yourself logically, scientifically, and morally. Surely you are more intelligent than you appear to be.
