Don’t pretend that if I tossed you a fertilized egg in a petri dish and a year old baby at the same time, and you could only catch one, you’d dive for the dish. And don’t give me any ‘that’s not the point’ trash. Cells are not life. Cells are not a child. All cells hold life. We lose them every day just brushing our hair. And don’t you dare tell me to educate myself when you have NO IDEA what my profession is.
All human beings are equal, one does not hold more value than another. Because I truly believe this, you might as well ask me about tossing a six month old or a seven month old. It’s only your lack of ability to give value to something that is too small to see or hidden away that allows you to so easily destroy embryos in a petri dish or a fetus in the womb.
You are right, I don’t know what your profession is, but you are clearly not an embryologist. A fertilized egg is a new human being, different than any other human being ever created and different than any human being that will ever be. We have many types of cells that make up our bodies, but they only contain our DNA. A fertilized egg, or zygote, has his or her own unique DNA. The same DNA that person will have for the remainder of their days.
